A spot of photo editing

While on my Christmas travels, I spotted this head of a statue laying on the ground and thought it looked quite sinister. It was a bright day and I was too cold to stay outside very long so I just took a quick snap and ran back into the warm. The original photo (as seen at the bottom) was nothing special and didn't really evoke any emotions in me so I used Lightroom to achieve the mood I was looking for. I think the edited photo has a very dark, moody and quite chaotic feel to it. Does it stir any emotions for you?

Christmas Times

As usual, this year we tried to fit in as many different Christmasses as possible with many different groups of family and friends. This resulted in a lot of travelling around the country, but also a lot of great photo opportunities. Here are a few of my favourite photos I took over the festive period.

I will post my festive photos taken over the christmas period soon, once i've had the chance to sort through the hundreds I took. My aim now in the new year is to 100% focus on running Photography Workshops for adults, so I better go and get on with it. I will keep you posted on my progress.
